- MgOBPA & CMMA Establish Association Partnership

MgOBPA and China Magnesite & Material Association (CMMA) signed a memorandum of understanding on October 15, 2024 establishing a formal association partnership between the two organizations. The partnership will provide new opportunities to work together on industry education, research and development, manufacturing quality assurance, and more.

- MgOBA Hosts CMMA in US
October 15, 2024
MgOBPA hosted a delegation of CMMA members in the U.S. for tours and meetings. While planned meetings during the ASTM Conference in Orlando were canceled due to weather, MgOBPA and CMMA members toured building products distribution facilities, architect offices, modular manufacturing facilities, and other offices in Dallas, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles.

- MgOBPA to Exhibit at Greenbuild Conference in November 2024
September 6, 2024
MgOBPA members will be exhibiting together at the upcoming Greenbuild conference bein held November 12 – 15, 2024 in Philadelphia, PA. Members will be staffing our booth to answer questions about MgO building products and educate architects, designers, and many others about the beneficial uses of MgO building products.

- MgOBPA Holds First Membership Meeting
April 23, 2024
MgOBPA members gathered virtually on April 23, 2024 for the association’s first membership meeting. Led by the volunteer Board of Directors, the meeting provided an opportunity for member companies to meet one another and discuss industry needs and opportunities. MgOBPA hosts monthly virtual membership meetings in addition to in-person events.
